Hello, I’m Courtney! I graduated for cosmetology at Paul Mitchell The School in Spokane, WA. I then moved to MN where I started my career at Salon Alexis in Alexandria. For the past 6 years my focus has been perfecting my craft and skill as a stylist. Looking for continued growth and challenges, my business partner and I decided to open Empowered Beauty in Glenwood, MN. I’m fascinated with how my work can not only completely change how people look but also how they feel about themselves, which is the inspiration for our salon name. I believe when my clients feel their best selves, they feel empowered! Therefore, I constantly work on improving my skills, learning new techniques, and continuing my education to keep up with the current trends. My passion is creating personalized haircuts, customized color formulas and specialized techniques for each of my clients to provide an individualized experience.

Hello, I'm Melanie! I've been in the hair industry for 9 years, where I've discovered my passion for unique highlighting techniques, creative color formulas, and custom haircuts that match perfectly for each guest's desired look. My favorite time spent with my guests is during the consultation, where we can thoroughly discuss the game plan to achieve each individual's goal for their hair so they always leave satisfied and confident with a new look. For the last three years, I've been developing my skill in different types of hair extensions to offer to my guests to help enhance their style and hair. Looking to grow as a stylist, my business partner and I decided to open Empowered Beauty in Glenwood, MN to bring high quality services and experiences to the area!

Hi! My name is Morgan and I've had my esthetician license for over four years and recently decided to expand into the beauty industry and pursue my cosmetology license. I received my education at the Model College in St. Cloud. I've always had a passion for helping people look and feel their best. Over the past four years in the salon, I've specialized in eyelash extensions, sugaring and brow lamination. I'm so excited to have expanded my services to all things hair to better service my guests! I look forward to continuing to build my clientele and having my guests feel their absolute best after being in my chair.

Hello, I’m Danette! I went to cosmetology school at Regency Beauty Institute in Maplewood, MN. I’ve been working the Glenwood area as a stylist for the last 12 years, but have 18 years of experience in the beauty industry. After years of developing skills in all hair services, my passion is tailoring my techniques in foiling to suite the unique look my guests desire! Beyond my professional pursuits, my loving husband and our three kids spend our quality time enjoying summer and the outdoors! We love exploring new places to camp as often as possible. When you’ve been doing hair for as long as I have, you no longer just see your clients as customers but as cherished friends! I love getting to hear about what is new with their lives and being along for the journey. I offer an extensive range of services, including haircuts, color services, and waxing! I look forward to the opportunity of working with you to achieve your hair goals!

Hello, I’m Bailey! I grew up here in Pope County and am beyond thrilled to be back here after college and start my career as a stylist. I graduated from Nova Academy of Cosmetology in Mankato, MN. I started my first salon job in Mankato, where I continued my education and worked on my technical skills. After receiving training in Mankato, my goal was to return to Glenwood to service this beautiful community. I love everything Glenwood has to offer; the gorgeous lake, activities, and most importantly the wonderful people. My focus as a stylist is creating a look for people that helps them feel great about themselves. I love getting to personally know each of my guest that sits in my chair, and learning more about them each visit. Some of the advantages of the beauty industry is the creativity and customization of each service to personalize it for each individual. My passion for hair and lashes pushes and drives me everyday to better my skills and grow in this industry. I offer a variety of hair services, lash extensions, and waxing.
